New Concert Days

The Lockdown Bar and Grill is all about rock, whether it is rock when it was just rock, rock when it was glam metal, or rock when it was alternative. We grew up with all of the music movements and cannot get enough of it. So, instead of marrying ourselves to one form, we have reworked our schedule to feature a different kind every night of the week.

Sundays and Mondays we will explore the beginnings of hard and alternative rock with groups from the ‘70s and ‘80s. Watch Jim Morrison bellow on stage with the Doors, Eric Clapton conquer the guitar, and the Ramones popularize punk rock for the masses. We have many more bands and will rotate them throughout the month.

Tuesdays the ‘90s take the stage. Industrial rock god Trent Reznor pushes the limit as Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam straddles the line between alternative and rock, and the Guns and Roses keep the spirit of heavy metal alive. The list of the best groups of the ‘90s goes on here and we will get to them this spring and summer.

Wednesdays is a return to the…aughts? We may not have the definitive name for the first decade of the 21st century, but we do have DVD concerts of the groups that dominated it. Everything from the Killers to Stone Sour to Seether will play. In a decade that blew away the idea of rock genres, we have all of the best concerts caught on DVD.

We return to our roots over the weekend. Fridays and Saturdays we will rock out with the heaviest collection of metal and rock DVDs of any kind. Black Sabbath, Ramsteni, Motorhead, Motley Crew and many more will reign.

Of course, we will continue to have incredible burgers and a great beer selection everyday of the week, from open to close. We like to think of it like a festival with top-billing acts every night and truly great food in ample helpings. Maybe we should call it the Lockdown-aroo, the Lockdown-alooza, or the LD-ella Music Festival, the only difference is that this celebration of music and food lasts all year long.
